This workout shouldn’t take you longer than 25 minutes.There are no breaks in this workout. Perform 4 complete circuits.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Yoga mat
- Set of Dumbbells (opt for something that will challenge you!Your last 2 repetitions in each set should be a struggle.)
|Downward dog to Upward dog||8||4||Perform these slowly and match your breathing to your movements.|
|Dumbbell Squat||15||4||Use full range of motion. Your hamstrings should touch your calves when in the squat position. Keep your back straight and avoid folding forwards. Hold the Dumbbell close to your chest, but don’t let it touch.|
|Push-up to Dumbbell Row||15||4||Start in a plank with your hands holding the dumbbells. Keep your back flat, perform a push-up and lead the row with your elbow. Keep your elbows close to your sides when performing the pushup.|
|Squat Jump||25||4||Use full range of motion. Avoid stopping in between repetitions.|
|Walking Plank||15||4||Start in an elbow plank and come up to a plank on your hands. Replace your elbow with your hands, i.e. keep your hands directly under your shoulders. Avoid swaying the hips.|
|Standing Bicep Curl||15||4||Avoid swinging the weights. Use full range of motion.|
|Toe Touches with weight||15||4||Start on your back with your legs straight up at a 90 degree angle. Keep your feet flexed and legs engaged, as you hold the weight between your hands and lift up to touch the weight to your toes. Avoid bringing your legs to your hands - instead lift from the core to bring the weight to your feet.|
|Half Burpee||25||4||Start in a plank on your hands. Jump your feet to either side of your hands and jump back to plank. Repeat without stopping.|
