With the end of the Holidays and winter in full swing, we’re all feeling a little sluggish and….COLD! We thought something spicy might help you warm up and detox. Here’s a yummy smoothie recipe we found…
Ingredients:
¾ cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 large mandarin orange, peeled and seeded
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 tbsp. honey
⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper (optional, use more if you can handle it)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional, use any kind of alternate protein powder or omit completely)
3-4 ice cubes
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and add more milk for a thinner smoothie.
Add protein and blend for another 15 seconds.
